What if you don't like the results?

Ask about unhappy results first

Ask your provider what happens if you are unhappy with the result while you are still deciding whether to book. Note the reply and what it covers. The sources below show what to listen for.

What the four readings cover

The four sources come from three publishers, named in the links. Read them as a checklist of questions.

"Dislike" and "complication" are different problems. Ask about both.

Five asks to bring to your provider

  1. Before booking, ask whether the provider offers a follow-up visit.
  2. Ask what the provider can do if you are unhappy with how you look.
  3. Ask what the provider does if there is a medical problem.
  4. Ask whether any fees apply to follow-up care.
  5. Write the answers down.

Hold them to it

A provider who answers these questions clearly before treatment gives you something to hold them to afterward. We read these documents as outsiders, not as clinicians, so this page is not medical advice.
