The plain reading
This page does not quote a price. Prices are set by each provider and change. Ask for a written quote and read it against the checklist below.
Documents to read
The two documents linked here are research papers. Neither has a price in its title, so do not expect a cost answer from them. They are useful for a different reason: both study poly-L-lactic acid, the material named in their titles.
- The in vitro study of poly-L-lactic acid particles and collagen synthesis looks at how the material behaves in a laboratory setting.
- The multicenter study on the safety of immediate reconstitution of poly-L-lactic acid looks at one way the product is prepared.
If a quote is higher or lower than another, the cause may be in what the quote covers. Compare like with like.
Your action list
- Ask for a written quote for Sculptra Aesthetic.
- Ask what the quote covers: how many visits, and what follow-up.
- Ask what happens to the price if you need more treatment than planned.
- Ask for the same details from a second provider and compare line by line.
Translator's note
A price is only comparable when the scope is the same. Get the scope in writing before you compare numbers. We read the documents and set no prices, so this page is neither a quote nor medical advice.
